Mar\u00eda de los \u00c1ngeles F\u00e9lix G\u00fcere\u00f1a, known as Mar\u00eda F\u00e9lix, is undoubtedly the most famous Mexican actress. From the Golden Era of Mexican cinematography, Mar\u00eda F\u00e9lix is widely known to many as \u2018the most beautiful face in the history of Mexican cinema.\u201d Her impeccable taste for luxury and strong personality garnered her the title of \u201cdiva\u201d in her early career. F\u00e9lix was best known for her role in the film, Do\u00f1a B\u00e1rbara, where she donned the character of a strong woman who went beyond the traditional roles of Latin American women. F\u00e9lix\u2019s performance was so powerful that she became known as \u201cLa Do\u00f1a\u201d in honor of her unforgettable character. In addition, F\u00e9lix understood the strength of her star power and intentionally engaged it to speak up in Mexican national media toward important causes, including: female empowerment and women equality; indigenous rights; and the importance of preserving historical architecture in Mexico City. Today, despite the incredible work she did for her country, her influence and prominence spans far beyond Mexico to Latin America, Spain, Italy, and France.<\/p>\n

American film actor, William Clark Gable, is often referred to many as \u201cThe King of Hollywood\u201d or simply, \u201cThe King.\u201d Over the course of his 37 year career, Gable played roles in more than 60 motion pictures across various genres. Gable\u2019s masculine charm and magnetic performances quickly solidified his stature as a cinematic icon. Gable won an Academy Award for his role in Frank Capra\u2019s, \u201cIt Happened One Night\u201d (1934), captured audiences in \u201cMutiny on the Bounty\u201d (1935), and received tremendous success as Rhett Butler in the historical film, \u201cGone with the Wind\u201d (1939). Indeed, Gable\u2019s iconic delivery of the classical film\u2019s line, \u201cFrankly, my dear, I don\u2019t give a damn,\u201d is one of the most famous quotes in the history of cinema.
